Self-conception
We are an independent law firm and have been advising companies, entrepreneurs, executives, shareholders and investors in the fields of business and corporate law, including litigation, for many years. In addition, we advise in the area of Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) aspects.
Our aim as attorneys is to build and strengthen long-term client relationships. Our excellent legal judgement, paired with our economic expertise, repeatedly puts us in a position of trust as a legal advisor.
For us, legal advice means matching the highest demands on the professional quality of our work and our personal integrity, combined with an extraordinary service orientation.
Competence
In order to meet the highest professional standards, in addition to excellent legal knowledge, good foresight, a permanent focus on our clients, their economic interests and an in-depth understanding of their markets with all challenges, dangers and economic opportunities are required. This is the only way to correctly assess legal risks in difficult situations, to find an adequate way to the aim and to communicate it clearly. It is always important to keep an eye on the strategy of my clients as well as the "big picture" and not to get lost in legal details.

Sense of Responsibility
For us, acting responsibly does not stop with the processing of professional matters. Economic success should also help others and change the world for the good of future generations. For us, pro bono legal advice and social commitment are inseparable from sustainable action and are therefore a matter of course.
Compensation
We want our clients to achieve their goals quickly and not have to wait long for time-consuming hourly-based work from their attorneys.
Therefore, where the workload depends solely on our services, such as in the formation of companies, the drafting of contracts, resolutions and other agreements, in transformations or restructuring plans, in due diligences, etc., we generally work with fixed prices.
Only where our work scope is not in our hands or in the hands of the client, such as negotiations with contract parties or law suits, we charge on the basis of hourly rates. In doing so, we pay particular attention to the comprehensibility and appropriateness of the billing. Hourly-based billing is used, for example, in the conduct of legal proceedings, in contract negotiations with contractual partners or in internal investigations.
Due to our low expense ratio and our focus on small and medium sized enterprises, we are able to offer large law firm quality and service at prices that are justifiable and reasonable.

Alternative compensation models
We are also open to alternative compensation models, such as value pricing (compensation based on value added generated), menu pricing (differentiated prices for different risk profiles), client satisfaction fees (partial fee subject to additional success criteria, bonus for over-achievement), or working for equity in the area of consulting for start-up companies.

We worked for many years as an attorneys in major international law firms and corporations, both domestically and abroad before setting up our law firm. From this time, we have the basis of a wide-ranging international network, which we are constantly building up and expanding. Contacts to domestic and foreign law firms, to auditing and tax consulting firms are as much a part of our network as connections to representatives of associations, management consultancies and universities.
For cross-border mandates we are working together with leading independent law firms. Should we require expertise from other areas of law, which is not covered by our expertise, we can rely on a long-standing, proven and integrated co-operation with renowned boutique law firms. In doing so, we always pay attention to efficiency and cost control.
